She hasn't made her GROUNDBREAKING MUSIC since I don't know when, I can see that she's trying to get back to it cause the new album is a MAJOR step-up from the let-down Emacipation was...god, these are some of my FAVORITE SONGS OF ALL TIME...I use to be IN LOVE WITH THIS WOMAN, like she was like the QUEEN OF MY WORLD!

Yeah she kinda failed with this era. I'm so sad that she lost her voice after the masterpiece that was EOM.

What did the bitch expect? She gets married all of a sudden to a guy who looks like he could be her son, and lip synchs nearly every "live" performance she gives. Her management is also to blame for releasing the wrong singles. E=MC2 was one big FLOP and it deserved to be.

Are you high? "The Emancipation Of Mimi" was GREAT album. There shouldn't be any complaints. She is still selling music and using those vocal cords of hers.

How strange, I was just thinking about this the other day. Mariah's heyday was the 90's like Madonna's was the 80's. They stayed relevant through the following decades but their songs and albums became more hit and miss. They sort of broke their streak. I wouldn't count out Mariah just yet, but I don't think she's anywhere as innovative as Madge so she might not be able to eke much more success out of her career.

Mariah's only true claim to fame this decade is TEOM like ROL was for Madonna in the 90's, with the exception of a few hits here and there like TMB for the former or "I'll Remember," "Secret," and "Take a Bow" for the latter.

The emancipation of Mimi is great, but E=MC2 is not that good. I think she can't return to the old days anymore, seems like she's falling behind.

I love mariah, and I will always love her, she is amazing, okay E=MC^2 flopped yes, but it's AN EXCELLENT ALBUM, I love every single track in.

LOL yeah, even though E=MCflop didn't do too well, it's still one of my favourite Mariah albums. I Stay In Love is amazing so I hope it does well for her and have no idea why she's been shunned by radio all of a sudden.... Even the mediocre Touch My Body got decent airplay!

The most probable reason for her changing up her style is so that she can stay in the game longer. She can still sing ballads and do well (We Belong Together, Don't Forget About Us), but she is trying to evolve her music towards the new direction that music has taken, so that she can get new fans, while trying to maintain her older fans (Side Effects, Migrate ... Bye Bye, I Stay In Love).

Still love her no matter what!
