That's so nice of them to offer medical assistance after nearly bombing them to death! Hopefully not too many limbs and body parts need to be cut off so the IDF and Israel can continue bombing the family and friends of those they just healed

Interesting, really. So you are saying that firing rockets at us, try to commit terror actions is totally fine and we should do nothing about it, right? , how much logic there's in it. You probably live in the USA right? or you are at least supporting their culture, which I support as well, so what would you say about what they did to Hiroshima and Nagasaki? what did they do in Iraq? to the Indians? don't act like everyone is humanitarian but we are don't. It's so messed up. over 200,000 killed in Syria, many, 10 or 100 times more Arabs died at Egypt, at almost any other Arab country because of a wrong leadership and that's totally fine with you, you never said something against them. But Israel, the mean Israel, they don't have the right to act and defend themselves, to live normal, right? living under rockets, terror actions, countries and many people wants us to die and get out of the land since 1948 is totally fine with you right? we should just sit there, without taking actions, waiting for our death? if it's so fine, come live near the border with Gaza, we will see how would you act or think about the poor & humanitarian Hamas and the right of Israel to defend herself.

Leeeeeeel that first part. When did I say that?
And you don't know anything about me. Yes, I do live in the USA, but I am a Palestinian. I was born in Palestine, and guess what, I'm currently in Palestine RIGHT NOW . Granted, I am nowhere near Gaza, thankfully. I am in the [occupied] West Bank. What I've realized is that being back in Chicago and hearing about stuff like this going on Palestine and then actually being in Palestine while it is going on is completely different.
"You never said something against them" How would you know this? You don't know me and what I stand for and against. You are quick to make assumptions, buddy. I am well aware of mostly everything going on in the Arab world. What's going on, and has been going on in Gaza and Palestine, is just as bad, if not worse, than what has been going on in in Syria, Egypt, etc. But this hits close to home because these are MY people.
And the whole 1948 thing, don't even bother with that. You know as damn as I do that none of this would even be going on if no country was invading the other and take most, if not all, their land, after being given a reasonable amount in the first place. But that's a whole different discussion.
Do I appreciate what Hamas is doing? No of course I don't. I can say quite a bit of negative **** about Hamas, but that would go on for a bit. They are **** basically. But I understand their motives and reasoning behind it, even though they are going about it COMPLETELY wrong. Not everyone here supports Hamas, just like not everyone in Israel is supporting what they are doing to Gaza.
But Israel isn't much better. They do have a right to defend themselves, yes. I don't want anyone on either side of this being hurt or killed. I've been to Israel, it is very lovely even though most of it was once my land as well, but that's a different discussion. But the way they are handling this is COMPLETELY out of line. What Palestine and Hamas has is homemade rockets, while the IDF has one of the most advanced military supply in the world. We have no warning sirens, no Iron Dome. All Gaza gets is leaflets and phone calls telling them to leave their house (to a different part of Gaza, where they would have to be forced to leave again because they can't leave to Egypt or Israel) within the next couple minutes or else they basically die.
All in all, as the days drag by during Op Prot Edge, I feel it gets less and less about Hamas and more and more about just taking more of our land and wiping our existence. It's what Israel is showing us as they continue these murders. "Hey yeah, let's bomb this beach where there might be / probably isn't any missiles stored! *Blasts* Oh well there was nothing there, but we killed 4 kids! Moving on..." THAT is the message we are getting.
Again, I'm not saying Israel doesn't have the right to defend itself. I was here when Op Prot Edge all started. I heard and saw the sirens and alarms from Jerusalem on Day 1. I saw the rockets, heard the explosions, felt the ground shake. I was there. But surely, SURELY there is a better way for them to get rid of Hamas than THIS... if that truly is their intention anymore.

I can assure you that Israel's only wish is to neutralize the Hamas from it's weapon.
You can't deny that we tried to stop this war with a ceasfirem, but the Hamas rejected the offer three times.
What would you do if you were Israel's governer? would you accept rockets being shot on Israeli citizens?
I feel really, really, really bad about any inoocent Palestinian that was killed by the IDF fire.
it's tragic and unacceptable that we can't aim at the Hamas without innocent people getting hurt.
I know that Israel is doing everything they can to minimalize the damage to the citizens, the IDF hospital is one of many things that Israel is doing for that.
I can understand why you'll be mad at Israel for bombing Gaza, but the Hamas has a lot of rockets hidden in the tunnels underground Gaza, the Air force gets it's intelligence to aim only at the target where the rockets are. It's usually hidden under family homes, schools and hospitals.
We are calling to people to evacuate, but the Hamas is ordering them to stay against their will.
I really don't wanna see people hurt, not Palestinians and not Israeli soldeirs, but Israel can not sit down while the Hamas are shooting rockets.
I hope that there was a more simple way to stop the Hamas, but appearntly there isn't.

Bringing in what people are a fan of into a discussion such as this is incredibly petty. At least try and stay on topic and not resort to insults.
