Does it offend you when you hear someone use "No Homo"? Personally it's just kinda funny now because people sound outdated as ****. I'm straight, but I have a few people I know that are gay that seem to get offended by it.

Of course it does... whenever you say it you're implying you don't want to be perceived as a *gasp!* homosexual. The term is a sly way of discriminating and marginalizing gay people. The term is so unnecessary and is often said in the most stupid scenarios, for example when a straight guy hugs another straight guy. In fact, there not ever a time it is appropriate to say "no homo"...

It doesn't offend me but it's stupid as hell. Like do they really think I'm going to waste my damn time tracking some random internet commenter down and telling everyone they know that they made a comment that could possibly be perceived as gay because they didn't add no homo onto the end of it to clarify. And most times whenever somebody says no homo! the comment they made isn't even really gay, like they'll say something like "nice hair. no homo though!!!" like I wasn't even thinking anything weird until you said no homo, you're making it homo by saying no homo

No, because a lot of ~straight~ guys think if you say "no homo" before and hi-5 afterwards, it doesn't count. And I like that.

No my guy friend is straight. He knows I'm gay and he says it ball the time. People are just so sensitive. Its unnecessary but I honestly don't see the big deal..

It has never offended me. I just think it's really stupid and I usually laugh whenever guys say it, especially after saying something that wasn't even sexual.
