No I am happy with who I am and I believe everyone should be. It's unfortunate that so many people aren't because of the racism and discrimination in this world. The only thing I would take a pill for is to make myself better health wise.
I wouldn't change my ethnicity. I like being of Hispanic heritage. My Latin roots are a part of who I am. Even if I was another ethnicity, I wouldn't change it to another either. Every ethnicity has a rich culture and history and to be ashamed of who you are or where you came from is awful.
Intrinsically, there's no problem with being any ethnicity, and so I wouldn't mind whatever ethnicity I could be.
HOWEVER, since unfortunately conflicts and issues exist in the world today, I'd probably be best staying white and benefitting from the institutional privilege that comes with it where I am living

I always thought the United Kingdom was pretty good on race equality?

Tbh I don't know for sure ... But practically everyone who's complaining about immigration is white and if you ask me the complaints are rooted in xenophobia/racism. I don't think it's as big an issue as in the States, though.
