Pop star Kylie Minogue has reportedly been signed up to close the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow next month.
Kylie, 46, will perform five songs at the closing ceremony in Hampden Park on August 3.
It's hoped that the gig will kick start her flailing music career, reports The Sun.
A source told the newspaper: "Kylie is putting all her eggs into one basket. She was delighted when her management pulled off this high-profile concert.
"Although she's huge in the UK and elsewhere, she's never fully managed to achieve global status like Beyonce and Rihanna."
Her creative partner William Baker will be in charge of designing outfits and sets.
Last year the singer signed to hip hob label Roc Nation - the home of Rihanna and Rita Ora - and it's thought this gig could be a huge success.
Glasgow 2014 is predicted to reach a global audience of more than 1.5 billion people after it announced new television deals in the United States and the Caribbean.
