Actually, doing the math Carly probably still got about $2.5 million, assuming she gets like 10 cents from each sale ($1.5 mill total) as well as say 8-10% cut of the $10.5 left to share between Record Company and Writers after iTunes takes their share. So not too shabby off a single massive smash.
I'm assuming that a track costs $1 exactly, by the way. Though it's 1am and I'm knackered so expect the next post to drag my awful math skills.
