She can sing but she don't have a "DIVA" voice. Just an average singer. If she joins american idol she will not reach top 24.

Rihanna has a distinctive voice and it suits the songs she sings. Compared to the generic blandness
of those high-note hitters radio prefers her voice. Her voice is raspy and great for catchy songs.
