The studio version of Leona Lewis' cover of 'Run' has leaked!
She originally sang a version for Radio 1: Live Lounge last year which was insanely popular and so she is putting it on the 'Spirit' re-release!

But I think I like the live version better.

The live version is inevitably superior, but that is the thing with Leona, she is always better live than on CD

But still I can't stop listening, it's bloody amazing :heart:

^^ The Deluxe Edition of 'Spirit' is released on Monday 17th in the UK so then, or Friday 14th for Ireland

OMG i m actualy in shock after listening to this.i thought the live lounge one was amazing but i though it was realy miserable and i didnt want it to be released but this mind-blowing and its not miserable.LOL OMG i seriously cant believe how good it is!

definetly.y'know id love if she performs this with the choir at the AMA's or even the Grammys on stage with all the starts in the front row.all of them will be in tears when the performance is over because they will realise that that performance is better then anything they've ever done[/oj]

yep.you can just tell by that picture that its going to be an amazing performance.i can just imagine the Grammy performance looking like that pic except on a huge stage with a screen behind the gospel choir of Mariah Carey crying

& hopefully that video she recorded in South Africa is the 'Run' video! It will be an injustice if it doesn't get a video!

so should she perform this at XF or not?i realy want her to perform this because it will get everyone talking but i know for a fact that if she performs this its the end of FM.it will be completely abandoned by radio.on the airplay chart the week after XF it would be #3 Run #57 FM or something like that.I

No I'm not hating. I just find it intresting that Alica Keys fan finds it boring. Especially with Ms Keys style of music and her voice.

We were led to assume she was performing it on the XF because she said in a radio interview she will be performing it on a few shows and the only UK shows she is confirmed on atm is Diva's II and the XF, but on the XF website it says she will be performing FM :-\

I would definitely prefer 'Run' to be performed! Ideally I want 'FM' in the main show and 'Run' in the results though

Do you think Radio 1 would give it the same support again? Even though it was A-Listed for ages last year?

IMO if Run was to be the 3rd US single and go for adds in like 2 weeks & they release the deluex at the beginning of December with the xmas boost n'all i think Spirit would pass 2mil by the time xmas finishes.but then again..i know nothing about the US charts!
