A nurse is fired after filming Brazil’s soccer star Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior‘s, hospital visit.
The athlete, more commonly known as Neymar, suffered a tragic injury during Brazil‘s 2-1 win over Colombia. Neymar fractured a vertebra and was rushed to the hospital confirming his absence from the 2014 World Cup.
According to Yahoo!, the nurse responsible for illegally filming the hospital visit and then posting the footage on Youtube releasing unconfirmed information was fired.
“The nurse was identified because at the end of the video she turned the camera on herself, so she could say “woo-hoo!” and happily pose while the rest of the country was in no mood to celebrate, despite the win… a hospital administrator confirmed that the nurse had been dismissed for violating a patient’s privacy.”
