So, im Definitevely not a gaga fan, I mean I was into gaga when pretty much the entire pop world was into gaga, but that didn't last long for me, later on I just wondered what would happen after the shock-factor faded, I think I kind of have my answer now....
To the point, I was with some friends to get some last day tickets for the show in my city, I was kind of reluctant to go, I didn't go to her first tour but I did attend TMB and I went to the btwb in England because coincidentally I was doing some tourism while she was playing in London, and my experiences with gaga shows were not bad but they Definitevely were declining in quality. As the show started I realized this was a new side of Gaga, the guitar and the beats pounded through the arena like there was no tomorrow, you know with gaga you are always gonna get the motivational speeches, I can live with that as long as it is worth it, and it was.
I actually rediscovered Gaga, and the show is a reminder of the stage presence this girl has, her tendency to do too much and the fact that she need to widen her musical range, she has used dance/electronic too much. She needs to explore a lil bit more.
The stage is so unique and messy at times, but it works, the lights and sound are spot on and she works her way around it pretty well. Venus is THE Performance of the night, can't believe THAT song made me stand up, cheers to her, it's all about a great performance on her part, right amount of crazy and right amount of choreo, all and all this is a very solid show that demonstrate why ever since she "rose" to the scene live performances have been her thing.
Note: kind of worried? About this stage working in a stadium, this one is Definitevely an arena show.
