It's a good marketing strategy for pop girls to go from dark-to-light or light-to-dark when switching up their eras. So with Lorde being renowned for her purple and black liptsticks and dark, gothic clothing, should she switch it up and reinvent herself for her next era? Or would she not be staying true to who she really is?

What do you think should be her visual theme for album #2? Should she continue with her current look & style or would it be boring if there was no change?
I think she should switch it up and go a bit more colourful, but not like Miley Cyrus where everything's acidic, trippy and rainbow.
I think she should dye her long curls an ashy blonde-colour.

Replace all her black clothes with denim and 80s acid-wash denim.
And make it youthful by throwing in some 90s prints, particularly in the form of backwards caps and jackets, to go with the denim.
So basically moving from goth to grunge, like Drew Barrymore in the 90s, but with a bit more colour in the form of 90s inspired African print, lots of denim, and dark blonde hair (but keep her long curls)
