Gays, bisexuals, lesbians, and transgenders frequently attack and belittle Christians for their beliefs. Even the Christians who don't bother them, or even show love and compassion to them. Why?

Resentment lasts longer than the actions.

Some members of the LGBT community are like this, just like some heterosexuals are intolerant to Christians, as are some members of other religious groups, and vice-versa. Don't make the mistake of grouping a minority with the peaceful/tolerant majority. There are assholes in every demographic.

Deservedly so, Christianity isn't fond of homosexuals so why should homosexuals be fond of them?

Not every LGBT person hates Christians. They just want acceptance from them, but some Christians really try hard to not accept them and even try shut them out of society. Some LGBT people have experienced this so much that they grow a hatred for them.

True. But it seems far more common for LGBT people to be hateful towards Christians, ironically because of the minority of hateful Christians.

Not everyone part of the LGBT community does that to Christians, and not all Christians do the same to the LGBT community.

At the end of the day, its a cycle that continues with both sides attacking/belittling each other, however, I see more of the Christian community (straight) insulting the LGBT community on a daily basis (where I am anyway).

uh.. because they're not really? A lot of LGBTQs are Christian and a large part of the community is tolerant as far as I know.. Honestly, what makes you think that?

It must be hard living in a world of rainbows and unicorns.

Because you would think LGBT people would have sympathy for a group of people who are ostracized and ridiculed for how they choose to live their life.

And while Christianity condemns homosexuality, it doesn't call for Christians to be hateful to homosexual people.

Uhm...

and of course not everyone who is christian hates gays. But the christian churches are one of the main reasons why gays all over the world are still getting oppressed.

Where's our book telling us to hate Christians

The majority of Christians are not hateful people. You think that way because of the emphasis media places on the minority. I learned about this phenomenon in psych last semester. It's similar to how people fear kidnapping because of how frequently it's discussed in the news when the occurrence rate is VERY low.
