Demi Lovato has defended Miley Cyrus, saying that none of her critics know the real her.
The 'Heart Attack' singer said that people forget Cyrus is a separate person from her Hannah Montana character.
Speaking to We Love Pop magazine, Lovato said: "I guess my transition was a little easier because I went straight to rehab. I didn't twerk - I just went to rehab."
She continued: "You know what, I think the world needs to get over the fact that [Miley] was Hannah Montana when she was 16.
"Nobody knows her, nobody really knows who I am, and the same with Selena [Gomez] and Jonas [Brothers] and everyone that has grown up in front of the public eye. We're adults now."
I don't think you can compare any of the disney girls with Miley as she got it a lot worse she was always a target for the media even before WCS the rest of them werent
I'm pretty sure this is an old interview. It's so odd they're posting it now considering there's tension in the Miley - Demi - Selena "friendship" and I doubt Demi would stand by Miley nowadays.
