- Is it the highly secure yet acclaimed Olympics which is aired globally and the event takes place for weeks.

- Is it the overly crazed event known as The World Cup which is also aired globally and the event is ongoing for weeks.

- Or is it the Super Bowl which is mainly only air in North America and its only a one night event

World Cup > the other two obviously, but performing at the Super Bowl gives you the greatest boost in sales even if it's only a local boost. The World Cup musical performances are a non factor

Superbowl, because it usually has effects on all the songs you perform. I don't think WC has any effect except on the WC song itself and Olympics, no one really cares about the performer.

Also, the Superbowl might be local, but the half-time show is always given loads of coverage.

Performing at the Superbowl will be more remembered IMO.
