I'm very much a male and I definitely present myself to other gay men as being more masculine than I really am. In my group of friends though, we're pretty genderless. 3 of us are gay guys and 2 girls are lesbians and everyone else is cool with it. But there's no sense of masculinity or femininity presented by anyone. One girl tries to be really girly, like "I love clothes and shoes and this and that" but we're all just like "shut up." We just hang out and watch all the same TV shows and discuss them and get really drunk/high together. But there's never any talk of sports or gossiping about girls we hate/are fighting with or anything because we're just all really chill.
I wouldn't call that genderlessness though. We just don't have interests that are either masculine or feminine.
I present myself (physically) as being very masculine though, despite having very gay interests, I look and sound straight. But I don't have anything against fems or twinks. I have them for close friends.
