On Ashanti:
I blocked Ashanti at the [2003] World Music Awards. The year that everything was happening, like, '03 when it was first happening. I had them pull her off the award show because I was winning five music awards that year and I didn't like what Interscope was doing every time somebody associated with Murder, INC. was around. Like they would add security to my security detail and they'd be 20 people. It would be so crazy. We'd be walking around like...if I go to the bathroom, it's gonna be like 21 of us going in the bathroom. So I was like, "just mail me the trophies if I win," but they were adamant about me coming so they pulled her off the actual show.
When I saw the pictures of her recently, all kinds of sh-t ran through my head. She was hot! You see that, I said, "Oh she poking out back there?! And she got abdominal muscles AND she been working?!" [laughs] Ashanti been on her job.
