Many people are lazy to write God instead god. There are lot of differences between god and God.

god = it is written with "g" and normally people is complainin about he never helps them and they dont show any faith at all

God = it is written with "G" and normally people forget he is big and he is the God of gods, nobody is like him. And his favor is on us if we are obedient plus if we have the enough faith on him.

I am not lazy at all to type God with "G"

I don't really care. I think "Oh my god" looks weird. I prefer omg or OMG. Other than that expression, I never really use the word in the monotheistic sense.

I'm going to be negative and say that I see a religious argument coming on.

However, personally I see no reason for you to capitalize the 'g' out of respect. I do it though, just cause, it's kind of a name, looks bad uncapitalized.

some people perfer g-d or G-d when they write it on paper so that when its thrown out eventually his name isnt being neglected

Ummm I use "Gawd" when I use the phrase, "Oh my gawd."

I seriously go back sometimes and change it that way. I don't like using Oh my god. But anyways...
