So before joining ATRL i was completely unaware (read didn't care enough to know) about the status or situation of LGBT rights in the society

After being here fro a 2 years i see a change in me ? I raise my voice to issues which i didn't care about previously. I am accepting towards different ideas which would have seen odd to me two years back

Does belonging to LGBT community makes you more liberal and understanding towards other issues like racism or profiling . Makes you more open towards idea of feminism if you're a guy

No. Gays are just as judgmental and racist, if not worse. In my opinion, it's automatically worse to hold these sentiments when you belong to an oppressed minority. I mean talk about being an idiot. You're apart of a group that is still struggling to attain the same rights as others, yet you feel like you have the right to push down an even smaller minority within your own? It's disgusting and I'll never understand it.

Only when it comes to LGBT issues. What I've noticed, esp on this site, that people will argue till the end of time if the issue/country/etc is AGAINST LGBT rights. Nothing else.

I'm not out yet so I don't feel liberal and even though I'm gay I dwell among shallow minded people who looks matter to them more than personality or manners so I don't feel heavily belonging to the gay community.

I have seen this a lot here . People calling each other bottoms . I am mean I know member call each other bottoms in a funny manner or it's just a joke but it gives you an impression that being one is a wrong thing .

What about women rights. Even though this is a pop music forum the dominating sex has always been females . Some of the stans recognize their idols achievement their own .

Not in everyone, it still makes me sad to see people say "no blacks" or "only masc, no fem". It's discouraging, and makes the LGBT community look hypocritical. Before really accepting myself I was really shallow minded but as I learned that there is a lack of people in own community that fights for all equality, I make sure I do it in my own life 24/7

The dominating sex in topics not members is female. They don't though, most stans assume they are aware of issue like feminism etc because their fav is when the stans really end up knowing nothing when properly asked to address the topic.
