Halloween is suposedely an "american celebration" and "against religion" here in Mexico, yet, everybody celebrates it. Disgusting. And they then celebrate the Dia De Muertos on November 2nd. Any excuse to not go to job, I guess.

Same in my country. They're so annoying, like we'll celebrate as american.

I'm going to be Robin, from batman and robin.

It's not by choice though. Our homecoming theme is halloween. So senior homecoming nominees have to match their partner (my partner is going to be batman), so I'm stuck as robin.

Anyway, I think people are retarded if they relate Halloween to religion. It's just a time when you can dress up as scary creatures or fun costumes. The whole point of Halloween is to scare the evil spirits away, since October 31 is when they come out on their yearly long sleep.

Oh, by the way, I usually don't dress up anymore unless someone's throwing a costume party. Last year, my best friend threw one and I went as a werewolf. My family's actually started a tradition of where we go to the theaters to see a scary movie on Halloween now. Last year we went to see Saw IV and this year, either Saw V or Quarantined.
