What are the perks and cons of studying abroad? When I go to college, I know that I either want to study business/accounting abroad in Poland or France.
However, I would like to know what the pros and cons are. Well? What do you think?
My favorite was the ability to travel around the country you're in/surrounding countries, but the amount of money I spent. it was well worth it though, those trips were the best.

Sis, where did you go? And about how much would you usually spend per semester?
Pros: New experiences, new culture, more adventure, more fun, once in a lifetime opportunity, new connections, new friends, learn a new language, developing skills to live independently regardless of country, keeps college fresh so you don't burn out.
Cons: More expensive (airplane travel/sight-seeing/more likely to spend money eating out), away from family, might get culture shock, might miss your friends in college, classes might be harder (or easier).
pro: once in a life time experience, bragging rights cuz not many undergrads do it, and a good thing to have in your resume
con: language if you dont know it, currency (euro>>>dollar), culture shock/differences
i just finished my study abroad program in spain and heading back to california in a couple hours
