So, the reports that Aaliyah's family is furious about the biopic are being denied by Zendaya's father. Also, Barry Henkerson, Aaliyah's uncle and manager, made some rather interesting remarks on his Twitter about the movie. Take a look.

This is all so confusing, though. According to Hankerson, the filming started and is well underway and the movie will involve Aaliyah's music, as her family is not in charge of her estate. And I do wonder what four songs Zendaya recorded for the movie.

Apparently there will be new music (Aaliyah's 16 remastered unheard tracks, most probably released this year!), which is a great thing.

How could filming already start if they just casted Zendaya?

I love Barry, but i don't like his tone in the tweets. He did not have to say anything about profit or finances.

Why does her uncle have control and not her mom and brother?

If her family doesn't want a biopic then it shouldn't be made, simple as that. Although I am curious about Aaliyah's story because there seems to be a lot of struggle and weird abuse going on in her life that I want to be made more clear..

Something is off. Is that really his twitter? I don't know but I just find it weird that he has been tweeting this stuff for months and he is the only one tweeting all of this. I don't see Missy Elliot mentioning this, I don't see Timbaland mentioning this, I don't see Rashad mentioning this on twitter.

With her family being so protective and private makes me wonder something went on behind the scenes.

Honestly I hope her family scalps that shady stunt queen bald. Barry is a mess and will do anything to make a quick buck, he even went as far as to make questionable comments implying the plane crash wasnt a accident.

That whole incident is still shady as **** to me. She was scared of planes why the hell would she go on a overloaded plane?. A lot did not make sense.

I really have no idea. I don't think Missy or Timba are really close with Barry, since he's obviously having a different opinion than Aaliyah's family about what should happen next.

He's pushing the movie and he's pushing the 'new' music, while they never wanted to release ANY new music, let alone to have any kind of a film about her life.

Honestly, **** the movie and just give us the music the fans have been asking for more material for awhile.

According to witnesses, Aaliyah and her team were heard arguing with the pilot that there's too much luggage on the plane. I don't know if it's true or not, but I'm more than sure that if she knew that the plane was overloaded, she would never put her foot on it, as she didn't like small planes as she told her brother 2 days before her death.

The pilot had no real license, he was employed by some company and called few hours before the flight. Cocaine and alcohol was found in his system. He was not associated in any way with Aaliyah or her team.

She was one day ahead of her schedule on Saturday, very tired from the shoot that lasted 4 days. It was her second music video filmed in two weeks. She was busy and was about to film more scenes for Matrix after her appearance at the VMA's. They wanted to finish the video, do some promo and move on for Matrix and then a tour. Sadly, things went wrong.

Okay. But can y'all put the damn albums on iTunes? She has an amazing discography and it's a shame we can't buy it digitally. Oh well, it'll happen sooner or later.
