Southern Alberta was ravaged last year during one of the worst floods in Canadian history recorded. (It is the costliest natural disaster in Canadian history) and many are STILL recovering, but heavy rain may cause another flooding event.

High River, the worst effected town during the 2013 Flood, is preparing for the worst.
A high flow advisory has been issued for the two rivers that flow through the city of Calgary. Although it's expected the event won't be anywhere near last year's.
It's like mother nature is planning a sick one-year anniversary event, as this is the exact same week the flood happened last June.
UPDATE:
Clarsholm and Cardston have declared states of emergency as the streets flooded this morning.
