I plan on being a published writer at some point of my life, but I keep having trouble arranging my ideas and thoughts into an actual book. What do you write?

In my - first language - English Language IGCSE exam two years ago, I had to write a minimum of 500 words for an essay... I ended up writing over 2000 words
