New York, NY (CNS) - Socialite and reality star Paris Hilton appeared on ABC's "The View" on Thursday to promote her latest and greatest reality series on MTV called "Paris' BFF."

Things started to get a little nasty after the show aired a clip of her infamous internet clip that was a spoof on Sen. John McCain.

Co-host Joy Behar then laughed and said, "Too bad you can't vote ... because you were in the slammer. My friend was in the slammer and couldn't vote."

Hilton, looking quite shocked, began to retaliate saying, "I can vote."

Behar then asked, "Oh, it was just a misdemeanor?"

Hilton then replied, "Yes, I drove with a suspended license."

Hilton has had other run-ins with show hosts, including David Letterman in October of 2007 after he hammered her about her time in prison. The heiress became visibly annoyed and refused to comment on the time she spent behind bars.

That doesn't seem like a clash, but boy was Joy glad to have Paris on the show!

I watched it and they didn't clash at all. I hate it when media makes everything seem like a catfight, when it is so clear they didn't.

^ Word. They were completely civil with each other.

I wouldn't call it clash either, it was okay.
