I know this ain't Apple support but I just wanted to know if others were having the same issue.

Basically since updating to that stupid maverick software, my laptop would freeze and I'll have to restart it. Does anyone else have that issue since updating to maverick?

Ugh, maybe you're running too many programs at once and the CPU is having a hard time retrieving all the temp data from the flash memory or the 8-16GP memory disk.

Basically, close some programs.

OR, it could be the youre loading something that's huge and the CPU is stuck on that and can't move on

It's cursed. Burn it now and purchase a new one.

This is probably the problem, your old hard drive combined with the amount of RAM you have, isn't on par for what Mavericks needs, upgrade to an SSD and max out the RAM.


Or your hard drive is going, I had that problem with my previous hard drive, my computer would freeze trying to open a folder for a good 5 minutes, got a used hard drive off of ebay for 20 bucks, and it works like new.
