Primarily for the American members, but if you're international you can vote for the party that suits your ideals the most.

Does anybody actually vote Republican? Everything I read about their party and their beliefs just makes them look crazy and bigoted.

The south because they actually believe in those social policies.

Most people vote Republican because their economics MAKE SENSE and are decent. Liberals don't understand economics.

Democrats are decent, and need work (particularly the corporatist ones like Obama, Hillary, etc). Republicans are just bigoted and ******* crazy, and make a mockery of the United States... really abysmal. The bigger problem is the extremely corrupt $y$tem in place, but yeah, ideologically left eclipses right in terms of equality for minorities, the poor, etc.
