If the cameras were better it would be otherwise the Samsung galaxy s5 says hello. The private mode feature and the power saving features and it's 16MP camera literally slay me.

HTC's always look great though! Too bad it has a 4Megapixel camera (in 2014 no less)

The OS is sexy. The phone is cheap from a design point of view. It's just as basic a smartphone gets.

The phone looks like a band-aid though.

This isn't about which phone is better, it's the design of the phone itself. The M8's camera is terrible, but the design is sexy.

Plus the Galaxy S5's phone may have more MP, but the camera itself isn't as good.
The 5s takes clearer shots, larger aperture and longer distance detail.

Compared to the other two, the 5s captures more per image, more detail (you can see things like the bush being drowned out in the other two photos) and in the 5s photo, you can see the white house properly, on the other two it looks like just a spec.

The M8 is the second photo, but it looks grainy. The last is the S5, but because Samsung use more contrast in photo's the clouds look over-exposed.
The only thing MP help you do is print larger photos and zoom in more on your phone.
