Women have the right to vote, the right to choose, the right to work in high positions in the workplace, what are feminists fighting for nowadays?

This may be true for the U.S., but not for other countries.

The U.S. is not the only country in the world nor is it the most important; step out of your ****ing bubble.

Um let's have a week peek at this mess, shall we? Women have the right to vote, hmm well in most countries but only extremely recently. The right to choose... choose what? To have an abortion? Not in many countries and is contested just about everywhere. The right to work in high positions? Then why do statistics show just about zero women hold the top job?

Women are still denied equality in every single way, some just aren't so obvious. The patriarchy is still in full effect.

I know this since, you know, I keep up on current events in the world? But my question once again is: What do feminists in America have to fight for?

I'm totally agree that equality for both sexes are in needed in third world countries. But what about AMERICA?

In no way am I defending the OP, but I've studied economics and there's a reason for this, and it's not discrimination. The most interesting part is that the people teaching me it (my high school economics teacher, my University Economics 101 lecturer and my Economics 101 tutor) were all women.

It's actually really interesting:

Women may not suffer the same level of discrimination as minority groups, but there's still a place for feminism in Western society. Women still earn less money than men and are in far fewer positions of power especially in business and politics. Modern feminism needs to be about teaching girls that they do not have to have less demanding careers and that they can succeed just as much as men can.
Outside of the west though? totally different story. Women are still very much second class citizens in many parts of the world.

Well, that is oppression. And feminist movement hasn't yet spread in those far away Middle East countries for example.

In the more modern nations all that's left really is equal pay/the glass ceiling, as far as I can tell. Men tend to be over represented in the higher paying jobs, meaning females have lower pay in comparison.

And you're assuming they don't chose to wear those, why? There's a reason that even Muslim women in countries where that clothing isn't required continue to wear it. That picture alone doesn't prove anything.

Was clearly talking about feminists in Western Nations. How often do feminists in the US campaign for women outside the US? Occasionally, perhaps, but it's not their primary function.

Again, in no way am I defending the OP, but watch the video I just posted. This is one of the biggest misconceptions and myths in contemporary feminism.
