I have to say that this is the HOTTEST track I've ever heard. I just say "Purple Rain" for the first time (fully) last night no VH1 (the rock channel thingy) and it was SOOOOO good. It has to be my all time favorite movie. I mean, Prince had me laughing the whole time and I love the style that "The Kid" had. It was just amazing. I mean, the outfits he wore, the songs he sung, the way he talked to people, AMAZING! LOVED IT!
Just like everyone else, I love both versions as well! Prince made one of the best R&B songs with this one. Mariah and Dru Hill took it to another hot level with their version. Both are still on constant replay on my iPod.
^^^lol i wish i had a teacher like that. the movie was good. Prince had my hypnotized cause it was a different look from what we see today. dudes too good to dress like that

And the attitude he had during the movie. The motorcycle, driving off leaving the girl at the lake, then coming back. Giving her one word answers, having that i dont care attitude. LOVED THE MOVIE
