Utada’s English Album set for Q4 2008 - Q1 2009 Release

Sometime within the next 6 months (October 1st - March 31st), Utada’s upcoming English album will be out according to a recent press release by Vivendi and the Universal Music Group.

“UMG plans a strong release schedule for the second half of 2008 with new albums from Black Eyed Peas, Pussycat Dolls, Paulina Rubio, Akon, The Killers, Bon Jovi, Keane, Fall Out Boy, Ne-Yo, Tokio Hotel, Hikaru Utada, Mylène Farmer and Florent Pagny.”

One interesting note I want to mention is that rather than using her stage name, she is mentioned by her full name in the quote. Could this mean that she is abandoning “Utada” or is this just pure speculation?

OMFG, FINALLY some new information, but barely anything. She should stick with "Utada." I like it better here here in the States. ;p
