To sum it up it’s the girls (D. Woods, Aubrey, Aundrea & Shannon - not as much) against Diddy and Dawn. They found out and believe that Diddy was doing some real shady stuff with Dawn on the side! Not on the sexual tip, but flying her to him for private minutes and whatnot, basically putting together her solo project behind the rest of there’s back. Of course Aubrey has been the mouth piece in how jacked up it is and has rallied D. Woods against Dawn; hence none of them showing up to her bday party or them giving her the middle school cafeteria treatment at the recent party. Of course Diddy doesn’t care, he wants Dawn to be the star (which is why last season of MTB showed mostly her and you rarely saw the other girls) and even now he still has Dawn and only Dawn going out to do promotions on behalf of Danity Kane. If you go to Dawn’s myspace page, so does have some “newer” solo material up…I can’t say I’m 100 on that’s what she has been doing with Puff but it is definitely her own material. Bad Boy is keeping it hush hush because they still want Dawn to seem like the sweet and innocent one, which she may be….but the rest of D.K. are still pretty pissy because they don’t believe she is the most talented and are heated that she would go along with Puff and do recordings, meetings, and press without letting “her girls/her sisters” know about it.

Danity Kane has been ok til now. Their first album was bigger since they had the reality promo and stuff. However this last one was a very weak project if we consider it had Damaged (a hit song) and couldn't surpass Gold, at this point i say it won't reach platinum after the second single flopped.

My point is Dawn will most likely flop as a solo singer, she's my fave from the band and all but i believe she will. However, she's doing the right thing by thinking ahead of the others, i mean. Look what happened to Cherish, the same could happen to DK, but not to Dawn since she has another card to play.

I think Dawn is a dope ass writer. She probably won't make it solo unless they give her a complete image overhaul, but she can write and arrange her ass off. She needs to focus on that.

Why is Diddy investing so much into Dawn's career? Aubrey, as much as I can't stand her, is the only DK member with a hint of a personality or a persona outside of the group. So why not try and promote her as a solo artist since she's a total publicity ***** that craves attention. The public already sort of recognizes her as "that Aubrey chick" and not just "another one of those Danity Kane hos".

Dawn would flop worse than Nicole.

To be honest I loved all the songs on Welcome to the dollhouse and Dawn made all those songs

bad girl didn't flop. it hasn't been officially released for that long yet. i'll admit it hasn't started out nearly as well as damaged did, but it really cant be considered a flop or anything for that matter yet.



oh and if anyone went solo it would have to be aubrey, she gets the most attention outside of danity kane, is the most beautiful, and has a lot of charisma. of course im biased here, but i still think she is best. ;D

shes the one all the paparazzi go after plus shes in hairspray and has a clothing line that I believe is more well known than the dollhouse collection

Yeah sadly she would flop. Yeah I agree Aubrey is the hottest and the most popular member but I think when u are with a group and are successful doing so idk why u should pursue a solo career? I guess the only artists who have had a successful solo careers are Beyonce, Fergie, and Gwen.

The reason why they had successful careers is because they had good management. Columbia and Interscope are good record lables. They did have Diddy and Bad Boy as their manager and record label where he only thinks about his career and Cassies. Its also Hollwood Records they only deal witht the artists that bring them the most money.

Well I think DK is successful but they have a lot more potential to be way more successful but Diddy is an ass to them. I like Cassie though she's supa sexy. From what I've heard though Hollywood Records sucks.
