It's people like him that make it tougher for women in sports. People who think this way make it tougher for women to be taken seriously. A woman doesn't have to be focused on kids or a family. A woman can do and be whatever she wants. Not every woman wants to be a housewife or a mother. What a backwards way of thinking.

So basically he's stating that a woman must raise a family and have kids instead of pursuing a career in popular sports, because otherwise she'll be unhappy.

Pro tennis players usually begin around age 16 and if you're good, you can go to 31 or 32. Having children derails a pro tennis player's career, sometimes indefinitely and complications multiply the older you get. Maybe he's worried for his sisters
