I saw it yesterday and it is good, but nothing more. It's obviously Angelina's show and her performance alone is worth watching it. Definitely go see it in theaters.
Just know this is a family movie, it's Disney so it's not dark. It is aimed at families and their children and they will love it. I watched it with my little brother (14yo) and he thought it was amazing. But I can understand why 20+ moviegoers, like me, want a more groundbreaking story, more darkness and Maleficent more evil. So yes, I rolled my eyes a few times at the cliché lines and the easy way out the story took but in the end the film moved me, made me laugh and made me fall in love all over again with Angelina AND Maleficent cause although I had hoped for more, it is a nice addition to the original one.
