HILARY DUFF ENDS CONTRACT WITH HOLLYWOOD

Multi-platinum pop artist Hilary Duff has marked the end of an era by ending her two year contract with Buena Vista / Disney's record label Hollywood catering artists such as Miley Cyrus, The Jonas Brothers and The Plain White T's. Duff has released four studio albums with Hollywood in the past, including her hit debut Metamorphosis (2003) and the electro dance album Dignity (2007).

The Best of Hilary Duff is Duff's second greatest hits compilation following after Most Wanted (2005). The record is set to be Hilary Duff's last association with Hollywood, featuring the artist's previous charting singles with two new tracks that Duff performed on tour in 2007.

Hollywood Records has been in meetings with producer S. Midnight for negotiations with Mitchel Musso (actor, Hannah Montana) and Hayden Panettiere in order to replace Duff's success.
