In light of the 8 who got massacred in california. is society overly protecting misfits/outcast to a point where no one can say anything without offending these people and god knows if you offend these misfits its the end of world for them and lash out violently.
What ever happened to standing up to yourself without a group of people protecting you? What ever happened to settling things out with fist fights? What ever happened to being outspoken either if its politically correct or politically naughty?
its crazy in how a decade (90's-2000's) how much of a surge of lunatics are roaming our country. You would never hear about these massacres if you lived in the 60's,70's,80's,90's. I blame technology for causing anti social behavior on our people + the over protection of outcast = disaster
Yes. That thread title with "unloved" He is not the victim here. But since he's white he's automatically a poor lonely teen with mental issues so it's okay.

Could you have written it any more offensively?

Isn't society in general very sensitive nowadays? The guy needed help and showed obvious signs that something was off. How sad his parents didn't do anything. So I guess, yes.

He was white? He seemed like asian or something to me.
Without a doubt. We're cultivating a generation of whingers and people who strive to be successful and attractive solely for the purpose of saying "LOOK AT ME NOW!" at their 10-year high school reunions. What they don't tell you though, is that high school continues long after high school's over. Popular people, good looking people don't get into dead-beat jobs after school is over like the fabled cliches would have you believe. They go out, meet amazing people, travel the world and develop great networks that can help them get the best (and highest paying) jobs in the economy.
There's nothing wrong with being a misfit. Just don't expect the world to become your oyster when you finish school simply because you feel unique. It's a big, bad world out there.
