According to Billboards.com Missy "Misdemeanor" Elliott is in the works for a video for her second single "Best, Best" from her highly anticipated album Block Party due out September 9th(hopefully). I'm personally stoked about this because hands down we all know when it comes to hot videos Missy delivers everytime and considering how futuristic this song sounds i'm sure this video will be fire!

yea that's wat im feelin cuz we're getting towards mid august now. i just recently heard best best put into rotation up here in Washington DC and Virginia but i'm sure the reason is only cuz she's from this area

Best Best is a hot track but It got old real fast. I dont listen to it any more and I don't see the point. BUt hopefully the video will be good enough to have it rolling

I think Best,Best is a great song and I'm still hoping that it becomes a hit. However, since the single hasn't taken off yet, the album will most likely be pushed back to October or November.

This album won't even go Gold. 'Best, Best' is lousy and that's why it's not taking off.

Well, I love it, but from what I've heard, many of her fans are displeased with it. That, and there's been no promotion for it as of yet.

I know. To be honest, along with artists like Nelly and Ashanti, I'm afraid Missy might fade just like they did. They can't capture the public's interest like they used to. I'm getting the feeling that Missy will suffer the same fate.

Missy peaked with "Under Construction". FYI, both "This Is Not a Test!" and "The Cookbook" sold poorly, the latter of which didn't even go platinum and sold less than 700k. I think she works best as a songwriter for other people now, but I think her career as an MC has run it's course. The gap between this album and the last one is the longest in her career and she had to go back to Timbaland because she hit a wall. And it pretty much sounds like this album is going to be a mess because they're throwing everything but the kitchen sink into it. I'm still a fan of her but I think she's done. I hope she proves me wrong though, I really do.

ummm check that again because according to RIAA This Is Not A Test was certified Platinum on 12/17/2003
