She proved that she doesn't care about charts or labels or making money, that she just wanted to make music for what it's supposed to be.

That she is Beyoncé.

I mean, the album without a doubt is the epitome of an album with impact. It had the hit single (yes, #2, DIL, was a hit) and eve though many people can choose to discredit the success of her singles, the album sold massively for an unannounced album and kept healthy sales for a long time (even though it's struggling now to push sales weekly, worldwide). Also, the songs impact (#surfboardT, #WokeUpLikeDis), the quality and the whole idea of videos for all songs was new and she will now be associated with ANY kind of unexpected, surprise release. Of course, now its sales seem like they were frontloaded, but hey, Bey pushed them numbers and the price of the standard edition is higher than the average, so anyways, she made them coins. Singles are not having that much success, but over a million people had already bought it when the first single was released so... I mean, with her strategy, lead single lost its purpose and all the singles sales were just extra coins.

She proved that she has extreme star power and is well-respected by critics of a wide variety.

The she's on another plane from these other girls. It's like the industry can stay pitting all the pop girls against each other but everyone in the industry KNOWS that Bey is on the level of Madonna and Michael so there's no point in including her.

Thats all pop stars though.

Nothing. Just a excellent marketing tactic. Just it.

That while her strategy was great for starters, I wish for more to push for a prolong era. I still love it. The music, imagery...everything almost.

She's not a "quick lil singles" artist.

That she's not afraid to make boss moves and that she can produce a critically adored body of work.

That she can't sell singles nor can she sell an outstanding amount of albums.
