TPP is going to be a mess. I love Nicki but she's a messy person and artist. Regardless she was arguably the It Girl in 2012 so can't breakthrough again. I believe in principle, It Girls in music are female popstars that break out finally into the mainstream.
Just because Iggy IS the it-girl of 2014 does not mean that all the other artists are bad or flopping, wtf.
There is an IT-GIRL almost every year, Katy, Gaga, Nicki, all of them had the year when they rose to superstardom , all of them managed to build up amazing careers. I see the same happening for Iggy, this is her rise to superstardom, she is here to stay. Just like all the others mentioned will stay. Why do you guys always have to put artists against each other. As a hip hop and pop music lover I feel so great these days, seeing two talented female rappers on top is something truly amazing.
