Tove Styrke rose to prominence as a contestant on Swedish Idol 2009, finishing in third place. After Idol 2009, she started a solo career as an electropop singer and songwriter. She released her self titled debut album in 2010 and re-released in 2011 and 2012. And finally, today marks her first proper introduction to the US with her comeback single in which Tove channels a mix of MNDR and Sleigh Bells with a little Ting Tings.
