Some scientists and philosophers gave us about 100 years before reaching this checkpoint but in reality it'll take even longer considering humans are still barbarians.
We're not even close to what a type 1 is, not even on the path of type 1.
So it comes into question, are we as a species just too young and immature to even reach the path to type 1 civility?
Whose to say a disaster, planetary or cosmic won't wipe us out before we even get a chance.
Are we already too late?

It's all within the realm of possibility.
Years ago there were things such as wifi light speed connection labeled as science fiction, luv.
For a type 1 civilization we'd need to eradicate some people and beliefs.
Religion would have to go.
Countries likes North Korea & Russia would need to be destroyed or taken over.
We'd have to replace Money with something else as the motivational image.
With money off the throne there'd be no need for wars and thing's alike.
We'd be able to focus on the evolution and growth of our civilization.
This is so interesting. Who knows it can be possible science and technology has advanced so much that who knows what they can come up with in the future that would seem impossible to us.
But yes, I think it's possible and possible very soon. Unfortunately commerce and business drives our civilization and those are the current factors deciding the progress.
If we removed the two factors, we would progress into Type 1 rather quickly.

It makes me sad that I'll be long dead before terraforming and deep space exploration happens.
