Ideally there would be subway cars that have sections with and sections without seats. People who want to stand can stand without their asses being in people's faces and people who want to sit can sit without having people's asses in their faces.

Gurl that is dangerous. I had to take the bus a couple of times in college to get to south campus, and it is tragic if you don't get a seat. Those poles don't help much from you getting whipped around.
