I don't there is a lot of injustice in this country and people seem not to care tbh.

American's are unhappy by the direction the country is going. They are not lost souls. The problem I have with this country is that we can never seem to fix our problems. All we do is brag about how great we are but we never want to focus on the issues we face. Like our failing education system crumbling infrastructure overpopulated prisons, income inequality High Unemployment etc. People in this country are struggling.

To say something serious, it's not just an american problem but a global one. I could make a list of things that aren't great in Germany. I think that we still have it better than most other countries. I don't live in america so I can't really judge your system or give my opinion on living in that country but how the poster before me said, I think that there are a lot of things that americans should be proud of (and confident)!

whenever a generic poll question like that is answered, the public chooses their biggest gripe as a reason the country "isn't headed in the right direction." it's all a matter of opinion, but this poll doesn't tell us that those people don't all agree on what's heading us in the "wrong direction."

I live in Texas it's the pits where. I Live. I guess the rest of the country is great but it's so backwards here . Our governor Rick Perry is the devil and our next governor Greg Abbott will be worse. There is a lot of are right extremism here. The other day I watched this video of this guy interviewing people on the street one dude running in one of the elections here said Gays should be sent to camps and that the Nazi's were great. I don't feel welcome here to be honest. Everyday I get reminded that I'm a second class citizen.
