Duffy - Mercy* (for sure nominee)
Leona Lewis - Bleeding Love (winner)
Madonna - Give it 2 Me (no chance, but she is Madonna)

Jordin Sparks - One Step at a Time (especially if it becomes a hit)

And then you have all the question marks. Will Carrie or Taylor be smart and submit one of their songs in Pop? Which Rihanna single will go here? Will Fergie remember she has Clumsy still left over? And will Alicia take a chance at submit Superwoman here?

This category is too full with worthy contenders to have that trash nominated.

And Best New Artist - you have the four Brits (Leona, Duffy, Adele and Estelle), the two singer songwriters (Sara and Colbie), the idol winner made "good" (Jordin and/or David), the hot new indie band (Vampire Weekend) and One Republic, who's leader has made too much of an impact to be ignored. Plus, whoever is considered new (could MiA finally pop up here? Jessica Simpson's never been nominated, so she's still technically eligible LMAO!)

It's Like That got a Grammy nomination for Pop Female Vocal. And that didn't even hit the top ten, let alone number one! I know you may have issues with her, but the nomination is pretty much a done deal. Mimi, Duffy and (ugh) Leona are already in, so all of the women I listed (plus people I forgot, like Natasha and Miley) will be duking it out with Katy "I'm Lily Allen with 1/4 less weight and 1/2 the talent" for the last two spots.

Duffy deserves to big up an award. She also deserves atleast three nominations. But anyway the Grammys always confuse me, there is always so many different categories, it's like wow! I watched in 2006, and it was like best Visual Gospel album and you were like what the hell ?

With Sheryl Crow, who will get nominated for ANYTHING, hovering just outside. Then everyone else, including Katy "Perry."

She's got a lot of critical support so I think she's in with a very strong chance of a couple of nominations and maybe a win. Which is all a bit of a contrast to the UK where she got a critical mauling and was accused of being an over-produced Amy clone.
