The song's lyrics are for a high-schooler, and they sound weird for a 20-something girl :/ I never thought I'd say this, but this song is better when Miley sings it.

A LOT of the lyrics on Katy's cd are "high-schooler". Like talking about fake ID's, class rings, seventeen magazine, and walking through the halls of her high school while boys stare...stuff like that. She's 23 years old, but she's been writing these songs since she was 18 so that explains it.

It fits better for Miley. It has more of her feel than it does for Katy. It just sort of fits with Breakout and would of been a little off set on One of the Boys.

I love both versions, but i think Miley's voice is better 4 that song

Aah, no wonder... "lame" and "so uncool" make me cringe because they're so old... it makes sense if it was written a few years ago.

Miley's version only sounded good because of all the studio editings.. and Katy's version is just a Demo.
