A circuit judge in Arkansas has struck down the state’s laws banning on same-sex marriage, citing the federal lawsuit that eliminated bans on interracial marriage throughout the country. In a 13-page decision, Judge Chris Piazza ruled that Arkansas laws barring same-sex couples from marriage violate both the state constitution and the Fourteenth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.
