When somebody corrects you. How do you take that?

I'm so petty I try hard to make it seem like that's what I meant all along. I noticed I do this recently and I still can't help it. I'm working on it lately and telling people to forgive my "ignorance" tho.
Depends on what I'm being corrected on and how they go about correcting me.
If they're rude, I will give them a look no matter if they're right or wrong. If they're polite about it, then I just correct myself, laugh about it and use it as a means to break the ice in the room.
If I think they're correcting me on something really stupid, and they were just being petty, then I also give a look.
if it's another language that's not portuguese, I thank the person
but don't correct my mother language, if you do, I'll leave it as is because I'm probably right but don't wannna fight
