Discussion: is it Racist to only like artists of the same race as you?

Excuse me for bringing up a question involving race , but I was just wondering about something and wanted to get your says on it , so if one only likes artists the same skin color/race as himself , would that person be considered racist ?

Not at all! If you're like "I hate that artist because they're black/white" and don't even base it on the music, then yes.
