He's not a super good spokesman, but the guy knows what he is talking about. Why get some celebrity to try and convince people of climate change, it would be much worse.
His replies generally hit the mark though although he can wind it down a bit on his explanation. I commend Bill Nye for representing the science community and bringing a voice to the public. Its better to be vocal about it instead of "Don't even argue with them because you're just giving them power".

Yeah, he knows his stuff, but the people who hold the power now are the low-knowledge voters who are voting and campaigning for climate change deniers because the message of "You can keep guzzling oil, enjoying life, nothing is wrong" is a lot more persuasive than "The temperature of the earth is rising 0.6 degrees per year, etc"
Our side just needs some good old fashioned marketing

Get a hot girl with big breasts, have bill nye stuff her with facts and quips, and ship her to fox news for some debates
