I Kissed A Girl Hits #1 In Aussie!
Katy Perry's I Kissed A Girl has hit the number one spot in Australia, knocking offf Jordin Sparks' No Air. I Kissed A Girl had only entered 2 weeks before at number 13, before moving up to number 2. Well done to Katy Perry, she is slowly taking over the World, with the song now holding the throne in three countries, and the three countries, are three of the most important charts in the World. It has also entered charts in Brazil and New Zealand. It is starting to get noticed in the UK, with people requesting the song on the biggest radio station station in the country, Radio 1. It has it's official release on September 1, 2008! Til' that time, let's praise Ms. Perry !

^ Yep, I'm expecting the UK and Germany as the two main European countries, I just hope it hits the top spot here, and becomes the Beautiful Girls of 2008 !

OMG! If she goes #1 in the UK, she would have gone #1 in all four of the MAJOR country charts! (US, CAN, AUS, UK) Any #1s other than that will just add to the excitement!!!!!

I used Beautiful Girls as an example because Beautiful Girls was brought over to the UK by Radio 1 while it was number one in America, and then it hit number one here. I Kissed A Girl is gradually doing this

AUS & CAN aint MAJOR chart countries
to get the #1 in the 4 biggest chart countries you have to go to #1 US,Japan,UK & Germany, but if you dont include Japan the 5th biggest is France.Canada and Australia are 5th & 6th

Actually i think Canada is a bigger market than France, ive seen the chart in France top songs only sell like 10-15k, in Canada its like 20-30k.
Either way, US,UK,Canada,France,Japan,Germany, Australia are the biggest markets.

Australia is a big market, you go by in each continent. Japan for Asia, USA for the Americas, Australia for Australasia, and UK, Germany and France for Europe!

the top song in France sells 10-15k on the physical singles chart.in France they dont have a combined physical & digital chart.the top digital song sells like 30k
this is the top 10 single sales market...
1 USA
2 Japan
3 UK
4 South Korea
5 Germany
6 France
7 Canada
8 Australia
9 China
10 Italy
South Kore dont have a chart though.

^ How the hell can South Korea be in it then if it doesn't have a chart, and Ireland should definitely in it, as should New Zealand, they're both more important than China and South Korea
