This episode is one of my favourite Simpsons episode. I thought it was sad too, because The Simpsons never makes you feel sad. You felt really bad for Ned because you knew he was never gonna have his wife back again, and you could see the strain from his loss. R.I.P. Maude, you very boring woman
This is when Luke had a crush on Noah for such a long time and Noah kept telling him he's straight and even had a girlfriend at the time, but in this scene we see Noah kiss Luke intentially. It was the biggest "kiss" moment in Soap Opera history cause of the fact it was the first male to male kiss.
And who can forget this moment. Luke is paraylized from the waist down because of Noah's bigot father. There is still hope that Luke can overcome it and walk again, but it's only going to happen out of "pure luck" and when we thought things wouldn't get better...well I'll let you watch it. I literally cried here (both happy and mad). I was happy for Luke and what he overcame and I hate Noah's ****** ass father who needs to die.
In the UK there have been many Lesbian and Gay kisses. On one of the British soaps, Brookeside, in 1995, they shared a lesbian kiss, and it shocked the country. And since then it's been fine for this to be in soaps

Me too! I love that. I also love how the ballerina tells Rachel "I love you!" and she replies "Oh, here, honey, take it all" (Gives away all the candy). And then when she tells Monica why she gave everything away Phoebe says: "No wonder you're pregnant"
